I was born in Chicago and frequent there often. I moved to Winona, MN in 2014 to study Art Education and Art History. In June of 2020, I moved to the cities where I have been teaching art up until July of 2025.

After the school year was over, I decided to change course and dive into my deep passion and interest in tattooing!

As a beginner in the tattoo world, I am really interested in tattooing many different styles but my work mainly reflects a neo-traditional look!

When I am not at the shop, you can find me at home hanging with my lovely partner and my puppy, Peanut!

I also love adventuring out and finding cool shops, restuarants, or events happening around the cities!

I am a huge fan of thrifting and can often be found at the local thrift, trying to find doodads to add to my ever growing menagerie at home!

more about the artist...

I was born in Chicago, IL to two very artistic humans. My love of art and making things started from a very young age and grew very quickly in my art-loving home. I was constantly taking art classes in school, outside of school, and always working on new projects at home.

During my college years, I studied art education and art history. At this point in my adult life, I became curious about tattoos. I saved up enough as a broke college student to get at least one or two tattoos a year, a couple of my own design.

During this exploration, I had thought about dropping out of school to pursue becoming a tattoo artist. I ultimately decided to put that dream on the back burner as I was halfway through my schooling.

After I graduated, I moved to the Twin Cities and taught visual arts to students with disabilities. Although this was very fulfilling in many ways, I felt misunderstood and undervalued in the education system.

I decided to quit teaching art to pursue tattooing, an occupation that was more arts centered. I was and still am very passionate about instilling art appreciation and giving young minds the tools and opportunities to create. I am excited to find the time to volunteer at an after-school art program for children.

As an artist, I try to expand my horizons on any medium unknown to me, therefore, I have a lot of experience working with many different types of mediums.

I have experience in stained glass, silversmithing (more specifically, bezel-set rings), ceramics (wheel and hand building), relief printmaking, sewing, drawing, painting, and seed beading. I find so much joy in educating myself in a new medium. I am constantly seeking out new ways to grow and become an even stronger artist.

My interest in tattoos started when I was very young. I have always loved decorating and personalizing every notebook, piece of technology, and even my furniture. No wonder I had a fascination with decorating my skin!

I have so much love and appreciation for all tattoo styles and any artist that has a really unique twist to their work. I love to travel to different places to get tattoos. I think they make great souvenirs!

As I have grown and my taste in tattoos has matured, I have really honed into the Neo-Traditional tattoo styles. One moment I could feel my appreciation for the traditional style blooming was at “Tattoo” A temporary exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois. This exhibit explored the history and cultural significance around the world. I was immediately fascinated by the historic roots and meaning traditional style tattoos have. I love the bold lines and limited color palettes. In my work, I love adding in a contemporary twist to my designs by using relevant or humorous subjects.

As an educator and an artist, I will never stop learning about new ways to create an express myself. I am grateful and look forward to all the artistic and educational opportunities presented to me.
