*prices are placed in addition to the hourly rate, and are firm. These spots require extra attention and safety precautions to ensure comfortability for both parties.

YOU HAVE A BUDGET
No worries! Let me know in the first messages you send me about your tattoo so I can contribute that knowledge into your draft so we dont go over-budget. I would never want anyone feeling like they got shorted in any way because of the price of the tattoo- My rate is 125$ an hour, and at the end of the pieces’ session your deposit of 50$ (to secure the spot and drafting fee) will be deducted from the total amount
Remember, tattoos are forever and if having to save up for another month, it will be just as worth it.

YOU ARE WANTING A COVERUP
I love coverups! I feel like my style is great for a good ol'blastover since i do a lot of blackwork. Please send a picture of your tattoo to me with a drawn circle of the perimeter you want me to work with, and then we can go from there!
If you are having troubles figuring out what you want to put on top of it- let's brainstorm together! Send a list of what you could see in the space there, whether that be an overall energy or type of objects you are thinking of!

-I prefer to be contacted via email, send all information and photographs to hardheadzllc.mn@gmail.com
-Please provide a couple of references and a detailed description of what you want, details must include rough size estimate (A”x B”), placement idea, and style (stippling, linework, illustrated with shading, dark pop art, art nouveau, cyber-sigilism, organic metal work, newspaper print, etc) you are wanting it in.
- Let me know if you want color! I love to invest in new colors so do not be afraid to ask for a certain color! (pantone preferably so i can try to get an exact match for you!)
-Note that I do not do others’ work without a form of credit given. Whether it be your friend who drew it for you or a design you buy from the artist, I need to know that the artist gave permission for me to tattoo this on you, otherwise we can brainstorm a new piece in the direction of the piece you send me!
*If it is a public figure, whether that be a celebrity or maybe a design you saw in a video game, that would be public domain and I am okay with tattooing those kinds of things, but I prefer to brainstorm with you to make a custom piece out of your dreams!*
-A picture of the placement on your body, preferably with an outline of the perimeter of where you are wanting the placement, is required so I can work around possible other tattoos, I want to create the piece custom form to your body!
-final drafts may or may not be given before your appointment, I will try my best to get it to you!
if you are wanting to see it beforehand and havent heard from me in a while, shoot me over an email- it helps me out a lot!
I promise if you end up not liking it, we can make your idea come to light! You booked me for a reason! I will make the best draft for you for the appointment to the best of my abilities- if there are any changes you want to make at the appointment they won’t go toward your final price of the tattoo!
-Let me know if you want to plan a zoom call prior to your appointment so we can discuss your idea- video calls only apply to clients who have already put a deposit down. Zoom calls preferred on wednesdays
-Changing your idea less than 24 hours in advance will be a $50 charge
*RESCHEDULING*
-If you’re feeling sick or test positive for COVID, we can reschedule our appointment at no charge.
-Booking cancellations, not due to sickness, weather or emergency, should message me 24 hours in advance, if not you will have to put down another deposit charge.

(subtracting the deposit at the last appointment for that piece).

- If you're looking to get small tattoos- consider getting a handful done at the same time!
Pricing is by the hour depending on the amount of detail/size. Simple linework usually takes me 2 hours (175$~$250), and small linework with shading usually takes 2-4 hours($250~450), if requiring multiple sessions, you will pay in full until your last session where your deposit will be deducted.
-For the final payment I prefer being paid in cash, the last resort is online payment. I do have venmo for online payment, but nothing else at the moment- so prepare accordingly beforehand.
There is an ATM at the Italian Market across the street, and one at the Tobacco store next to the shop
If choosing venmo an automatic 10$ fee will be added to your total for processing fees!
-Tips are always appreciated but never expected! I also love snacks n drinks n lil doodles n trinkets! :-)
*BEFORE-CARE*
-Please prepare your skin to be stabbed for a couple of hours! That means hydrating - by not only drinking water, but lotioning the area frequently a week before your appointment, eating a meal so you are not hungry during your appointment, and so on and so forth.
NUMBING CREAM
I love numbing cream and recommend it to my clients when getting bigger, or blackout tattoos to ensure comfortability throughout a long session. <3
- If you choose to use numbing cream, come to the appointment with the area you are getting tatted wrapped with cling wrap around the ointment, recommended to put on 1-1.5hrs before the appointment.
-I only recommend using the FDA approved amount of 4% Lidocaine, with my own personal preference being 5%; if the numbing cream you are purchasing does not disclose the amount of anesthetic that is in the product, it is likely that it may contain proprietary blends of lidocaine, which may contain a high amount of lidocaine, which could be dangerous!

-If you, or if you have family history with seizures, or heart defects, please consult with a doctor before using Lidocaine.
BekArtz Legal Policies and disclosures
Tattoo Designs and Services:
Custom Designs:
All custom designs are either hand-drawn (traditionally or digitally), and/or photoshopped.
Depending on the design I may spend several hours on it in between booking, tattooing, marketing, and regular life things-- So your understanding and patience is appreciated.
For Large tattoos I book them at least 3 weeks prior to the tattoo appointment to give me plenty of time to perfect your design.
Please communicate any changes, additions, or concerns with your design with me at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. I want you to be happy and have the best possible tattoo. Don't be afraid to say how you feel!
Flash Designs:
Flash designs are either year round or seasonal and are repeatable or non-repeatable.
Repeatable means they can be tattooed on anyone who pays to get it done as long as its available.
Non-repeatable or 1 for 1 flash designs are claimed first come first serve and are exclusive to the client who claims and gets them done.
Claimed designs need to pay a fee as soon as they are claimed and then get booked within a week of the claim date or they go to the next person.
Seasonal flash designs need to be booked within the time the sale is happening, but the appointment date itself can be outside the sale time.
Pre-made Designs:
Pre-made designs are designs that were artworks I drew or designed that are more pricey then flash designs and are booked like regular custom designs.
Drafting fees only apply if you want to make changes to the design.
These designs often are already priced at a flat or hourly rate.
They are exclusive to the client!
Free-hand Tattoos:
I LOVE doing freehand! Please if you are interested let me know I love creating something unique during the appointment.
Sometimes depending on the placement or subject it is the best option to freehand the design on the skin and I will let you know that during a consultation.
I charge half my hourly rate for the time hand-drawing the tattoo on the skin. It is art, and it takes time to conceptualize, create, and refine the design on the skin before the tattooing begins and it is part of the service.
Loyal Client Program:
I do not care if you want to go to other artists for tattoos sometimes (but I will be a little sad if it was something I would LOVE to do) but you will be rewarded for your loyalty, you lovely humans!

After three appointments with me you will automatically be put on the Loyal Client Program list!
All client members get 15% off all tattoo appointments! (And gift cards) No matter if it’s a multi-hour session or a dainty little tattoo.
After 5 appointments you get $100 off your next tattoo/appointment! Can be redeemed whenever, no time limit.

Art and tattoos belonging to Bek Artz LLC and clients with permission published to Hard Headz LLC associated with socials or other collaborators are copyrighted to Bek Artz LLC but can be used for collaborative promotional services with other entities with permission. Bek Artz LLC works under and with Hard Headz LLC collaboratively but remain separate entities.
All consent forms and other written private information from clients are kept locked and safe for at least 5 years after receiving the documents and will not be seen by anyone other than the owner of Bek Artz LLC or distributed to anyone outside of Bek Artz LLC.

Client Appointment Policy

By Appointment Only:
All services are offered by appointment to ensure a personalized and uninterrupted experience. Walk-ins are not guaranteed but may be accommodated if the schedule allows.

Booking Requirements:
A valid contact number or email is required to book an appointment. New clients may need to provide a deposit to secure their spot.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee (50% of the service price).

Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Late Arrival Policy:
Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may need to reschedule and will incur a late fee of $10. This is to maintain the flow of appointments for the day.
Hygiene and Sanitation Policies

Health and Safety Compliance:
The salon follows all sanitation and hygiene standards set by the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Disinfection Practices:

All tools are disinfected and cleaned using state-approved methods between clients.

Single-use items (e.g., files, buffers) are disposed of after each use.

Client Health:
Clients must notify the salon of contagious conditions (e.g., nail fungus, warts, open wounds). Service may be refused if these conditions pose a risk to health or safety.
Payment and Refund Policies

Accepted Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or mobile payment apps. Gratuities are appreciated but not required.

Deposits:
A non-refundable deposit of $20 may be required to secure appointments. This amount is applied toward the final service price. -
Refunds:
Refunds are not offered for services rendered. If a client is unsatisfied, the salon will provide a one-time complimentary fix within 3 days of the service.

Health and Licensing Compliance

The nail technician is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology, ensuring compliance with state laws. -
Insurance:
The salon maintains liability insurance to protect both the business and its clients in case of accidents or injuries. -
Tattoo Shop Regulations:
The salon operates with permission and under agreement with the tattoo shop, adhering to their rules for space use and client traffic.
Service Guarantee and Follow-Up

Service Satisfaction:
The salon strives to deliver high-quality services. If a client experiences issues (e.g., chipping or lifting) within 3 days, they are encouraged to contact the salon for a complimentary touch-up. -
Nail Longevity:
Clients will receive care instructions to maintain their nails after services. Damage due to improper care or accidents is not the salon’s responsibility.
Environment and Accessibility

Shared Space Etiquette:
The salon is located inside a tattoo shop; clients are expected to respect the tattoo artists, their clients, and the shared ambiance. -
Accessibility:
If a client has accessibility needs, they should notify the salon in advance so accommodations can be arranged.
Promotions and Gift Certificates

Promotions:
Any discounts or special promotions are time-limited and cannot be combined with other offers. -
Gift Certificates:
Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase.
Emergency or Unforeseen Circumstances

Weather Policy:
If severe weather conditions require the salon to close, all affected appointments will be rescheduled at no extra charge. -
Illness:
Clients feeling unwell are asked to reschedule their appointments to ensure the safety of others.
Communication

Updates:
